I have checked my Comcast account configuration setup in Outlook and it follows the suggested protocol for POP (and later IMAP) account setup. I switched my account type from POP to IMAP but that has not solved the problem either. I created a new Outlook Profile in hopes that might work but it still has a delayed connection problem. My iPhone mail program instantly connects with the Comcast account and downloads emails. ![]() In fact, the Outbox is in this account not the new one. My internet connect is otherwise robust and without delay or problems. The POP3 account is removed from the Account Settings but still appears in the Outlook menu on the left.
